The interest rates are very low but they will go up this year. Pricing is very low as the last 18months sales are low. I think it will go back to a sellers year. People are calling for land, camps, these are great signs people want to build . I say Hurry UP, the listings that sat the last 12 months will move. We are still affordable, the time is now! I don't how everyone else has done, but it's been a great year up here.Even now I just put 2 under contract last week. Land is one hot item, and so aren't cash sales on low end for second homes. Waterfront flew out of here in the summer, but I've noticed the 100,000 to 250,000 homes are sitting, that has been frustrating. Any ideas on how to move these? Has anyone had any success in this market this year? Karen

Life in Maine is great!! Last week I enjoyed the 18 inches of snow we got with my boys on my Indy 500. They each have their own sled also. Where else do you get to get up put your boys on the bus, take a ride on your sled from your dooryard, come back and get showered before going to work.
